Yesterday, Portal updated with the update: "Changed radio transmission frequency to comply with federal and state spectrum management regulations"
I thought it was just valve being funny, ntil I noticed a strange new achievement, called 'Transmission Received' with the description '..?' Apparently, there are radios added to every level now, and when you take them to certain parts of the level they emmit strange high pitched noises, If you put the sounds through a SSTV translator (something that converts sounds into images) you get strange grainy Aperture Science video feeds, the sound files are labeled as dinosaur_01, Dinosaur_02, etc. Its really mind boggling, also GDC (Game Developers Confrence is in about a week, and valve has an open booth there, maybe an announcement for Portal 2? They did say there would be no Half Life this year but that doesn't count out a new portal. There is ALOT more information at facepunch and the Steam forum if you wanna check it out.
tl;dr version: Portal updated with some wired shit on March 1st, that has alot of people talking.
ALOT more info here: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=903557
And here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1170872
So what do you guys think, they could still announce EP3 for next year, but its most likely portal. Discuss.
UPDATE: They just changed the ending to Portal yesterday, now with more cliffhanger!
