Alright, so as some of you guys know, I own a company - ObscureHost (http://obscurehost.com) - So here is some information on my company, and what we sell =).

About Us:

Obscurehost was founded on August, 6th 2009 by Allan Spracklin, our current CEO. After the first couple days of planning Allan decided to bring on a new partner Shane Egan, who would be running our Design department. After carefully looking at other companies to see our competition, ObscureHost is happy to say, that we offer the cheapest, and most reliable hosting out there today!! and on top of that, we offer top notch pre made and custom websites.

We also provide outstanding support, each one of our staff members are experts in their fields, and can help you with almost anything. It is our mission to provide affordable, and reliable web hosting and web design while maintaining close personal relationships with our clients.

Websites:

All of our premades are designed using the most advanced software suites. When purchasing a template you recieve the files, but no .PSD. All prices for our premade templates are non-negotiable and refunds will not be granted under any circumstance. We provide a variety of colours so you and your team/organization can get the look you desire.

When purchasing a premade you get the website as-is with no addition customizations to the layout/CMS. If you are interested in having the modules changed please notif y us after your purchase and setup has been completed, additional fees will apply.

the prices he charges for a website are pretty much the exact same, or less of what other services charge.
not only that but website providers usually charge less since they target normal people, who probably wont take up a lot of bandwidth and won't use a lot of space.

@Guy: I talked to my server tech, and this is his response to your post, and what you were talking to me about on the private chat thing. "That's good that you know how to run some simple commands into a console. I'm assuming you installed Linux onto your grandmothers old computer and found a neat little program called nmap and decided to scan our server for open ports. But, there's a few things you don't realize from your glib remarks. All of the ports you scanned there are commonly open ports on an active, production web hosting server so why else wouldn't they be open ports? Maybe you should study up a bit first or at least just try not saying anything at all so you don't make your self look like an idiot. By the way, our server does have a firewall at the software level and also at the network level and our network level uses high-end Cisco Guard DDoS Mitigation and Intrusion Prevention Systems." - Sorry if he seems a bit, harsh with his response.

@yardy: We make a very good profit actually. I pay around $50-$100/month on our servers @ licenses. And I make about $150-300/month depending on our clients/sales. So all in all we make pretty good profit.
