I wonder what's going to happen with The Dark Knight movie.

They already filmed his role.

But seriously , what a shame.

Its sad that he was so young, but I always saw suicide as a pathetic act. I've had two friends of mine commit suicide within last year and I still see it as an act of selfishness.

and lol at the sleeping pills. Those things are individually wrapped. Im not sure how much he weighed, but for me to OD on Diphenhydramine I would need like 4720 mg of Diphenhydramine.

He must of ate around 315 pills if they were normal strength sleeping pills. Thats insane

I don't see how this is respectful to the guy at all. Suicide or not , he was a great actor that didn't shove himself into bad films for the money. He has a great reputation in the movie industry.

Maybe some praise ?

rich and famous + young daughter + suicide = no sympathy

I agree, i have little sympathy. Suicide when you have everything is like forfeiting when your 3 and 0 in the world series.

Kinda of hard to speculate what happened so soon. early autopsy results were inconclusive. they gonna run more tests to see what caused the od. could be he took some over the counter drug and it became deadly with the prescription ones or maybe it got mixed alcohol. but he did admit playing the joker took a huge toll on him psychologically couple with the breakup with michelle williams. will have to wait til the toxicology test are finished

It's not 100% that he committed suicide. You'll have to wait.

Only tragedy here is that a young girl lost her father.

Well its ruled now that it might not have been a suicide, the news said it may have been a combination of perscriptions with sleeping pills that killed him, and I would always have sympathy for his daughter.

I think the news report stated that he was on drugs for psychological problems??? Like depression or something, I forget exactly what they said. I bet he had alcohol in his system though. Alcohol is notorious for amplifying the effects and other drugs and also working counter productive.

Alcohol, the deadliest drug in the world

I do wonder about what role the Olsen twins had in this, as they were quoted as being "special friends".

Really, I'd forgotten the thread was here... I bet he's in serious rigor mortis by now.... anyone else venture an opinion of the state of his mortis?
