Should i get PSE7 or CS4?

Next semester i'm taking media arts and need to know what would be better.

Elements is basically a really stripped down version of the CS series. As a student you should have some way of getting either for a LOT less than the rest of us.

I use them both... they both have different material.. it all depends on which one you like more... $80.00 at walmart gets you PSE and $400.00 on Adobe gets you CS4...lol

I use CS4, way better then elements in my opinion. So I would go with CS4, but it is all up to you, what experience you have with them etc.

I've been using Photoshop since CS1 .. Can only recommend the "real" photoshop and not elements.. Then again, it depends on how much you know about the program and how much you use it.. I've been using mine roughly 2 hours a day..
