CSS HD maps?

Ive made a couple of maps with HD, blooming was to high though :D

A lot of the default maps are HD, you just have to set your config in your cstrike folder to the appropriate settings to get it to be HD.

hit esc-options-click the tab that says video-advanced-then where it says High Dynamic Range set that to the setting of your choice

^ Yes, that enables HDR in the maps that have it, but if you get a HIGH-END config, it will make everything shiny =D.

As said above, try FPS Banana. I'm sure some people just make basic maps. I've done one project ages ago of one HD room, took me about a month, and it was a room that was like, 640 by 640. It still looked like crap too. It did look kind of realistic though.

de_wanda, there's also a map called uhh, de_Forest or something that has custom trees and grass models.

They are both quite amazing maps. There's one based upon a cathedral as well that is really remarkable.

Fpsbanana has alot of good HD maps but most are hard to find

de_wanda is probably the best looking map I've seen graphic-wise.

I had that map on my old css server, but i had to remove it, because one it was to big, and the server would lagg when i had like 40 people shooting at each other :D

On fpsbanana you can get retextures for maps such as making dust look a bit more 'green'.
i dunno if theres any HD versions, i doubt it.

I don't want to sound like a debbie downer here, but I think if you want high quality cs maps, I'm saying you're best bet is wait for cs2.
