Configuration in game:

I always try to use a slow sensitivity, but it is always preference, a slow sensitivity offers you a better memory of where to flick, or shoot to hit shots easier instead of having to move your mouse at precise movements.

I play at:
400 dpi
3.0 Sensitivity ingame

I always try to use a small crosshair scale, headsize, again this is preference.

For a good in game resolution you would want to use something like:

800x600

This makes it much easier to hit shots as everything is larger, when you switch from

1024x768 I think it is, you'll notice the difference right away.

I also like to use the Cal gui v2.0, doesn't really help you much, just looks nice.

Cevo Gui is also good looking, find them both here:

Also a very good way to practice is too use mm_Kozzy_Targets, which is muscle memory

and helps you remember where you have to aim to make a shot, here is a better

There is no proper way to play counterstrike. If a certain play style feels good to you use it. i use 1000 dpi, 2.4 sens and 82 zoom sensitivity, its how ive always played and always will play with. I too use the cal gui with blue settings. works really nicely. MM is a great way of training but another thing you could do is play on deathmatch with scoreboard unbinided, no sound, and no screen to see who killled you. That way youll be playing with skill only and not your senses and you wont be getting iritated if someone keeps killing you. It can help your aim and skill alot
