ok. I found this realy cool scout skin at fpsbanana.com I was wondering if you guys are ok for me using laser it at steam gamers servers. I dont want to make trouble like people think im aim boot or anything

It helps quite a bit with gungame, I'd guess. Stand still or crouch, and in cqb you might get lucky.

Yea but the bullets not going to go where its pointing. If you have time to crouch and move the laser toward the enemy you might as well scope them.

I used to use this skind all the time, but then i tried to get on the scrim server and it wouldn't let me so I got rid of it. But I don't think i'm doing the scrimming much anymore. (just not good at it =P). But now im gonna get it back.. amazing skin!

Many skins wont allow you to play. I once had Lagoon dulies without any particular advantage and it wouldn't work.

I think skins are cool that change the colors of the guns or of the hands in some awesome texture but dont use skins that give u new models... because then u have a problem for example u have instead of a usp a deagle u really start sucking with the usp trust me :)

I'm guessing he used hacks and just didn't want you to know. Models are client-side, and there's honestly no way in seeing them. (Unless it has a software that WILL get you vac'd)

The skins that change the texture are really stupid.
They're generally made by noobs who want to say that they've skinned something - not to mention they're all TERRIBLE.

I love having custom models. There's no way in hell it'll decrease your aim or fuck your gameplay. (Unless it's fucking huge and you can't see past it...)

Doesn't matter, you'll never know anyway.

There's 2 things servers can do about custom models. The first is that a model will automatically get rejected if it's a spiked model or something that goes too far outside it's normal shape somehow. The second is to set up a whitelist to selectively make the defaults load from the GCF automatically so players dont need to do anything clientside.

Draw over it with a dry erase marker and wipe off the dry erase marker with a dry rag or something, that's worked for me before.

I've seen that scout skin with the laser dot. probably could help you out a lot in scoutzknivez. but I almost never use sniper rifles anyway... and the skin (or at least the one I saw on fpsbanana) is like a Remington pump-action rifle... lame.
