Ok, so most of us know that the CEO of Activision (Bobby Kotick) is one hell of a greedy man (for those who don't know, Modern Warfare 2 is 60 dollars on pc). If you didn't know he's number 4 of most money making CEO of 2008. But really, what is he turning the company into?

Take a look at that. This is coming from a guy who said console prices should be slashed (also calling the console producers greedy http://www.infoaddict.com/activision-claims-consoles-are-still-overpriced-unlike-their-games) so people can buy more games (ahem, I suggest you slash the prices of the games if you want more people buying your games).
I'm a fan of the call of duty series, but if this really turns out like this, Activision really dropped the bomb.
Yes, I'm waiting for MW2 to drop to a reasonable price, 60 dollars for pc is not reasonable. Activision makes loads of money (Activision/Blizzard), they aren't bankrupt, just moneylust.
Also, I believe Activision has gone MUCH worst than EA greed-wise. proof? http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3172794 This makes EA look like the good guys (read last quote). Activision dropped Ghostbusters and Brutal Legends because they wanted to "exploit" it (in the words of Mr.Kotick) seeing how they couldn't make more sequels for either games. They dropped brutal legends because of this and EA picked it up, Now activision wants money for it.
I call Activision Bullshit, they dragged Infinity Ward into this, and all other developers (never-ending guitar hero crap).
http://www.digitalbattle.com/2008/08/16/activision-warner-disrespectful-of-music-games/ Kotick commenting that music producers should pay customers...the hell. Coming from a guy who releases the same game with a few new songs and slapping a full price tag on it. Warner Music respond ]http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/news/activision-fires-back-at-warner-music-boss-over-royalties/?biz=1 Truthfully, I think that Activision should pay warner music more. They chose bands that were great, and in response they get more sales (aerosmith for example), not the other way around
http://www.aeropause.com/2008/11/activision-only-wishes-to-publish-games-they-can-exploit-on-an-annual-basis/ Kotick on exploitation.
I really hope this is an eye opener for you guys. If you ever though EA was bad, check out the current Activision with Kotick. Corrupt CEO killing off a company? Or is the company taking the pain overall?
Guys, Shop wisely, some stores are willing to place it at the 50 dollar pricing AND an extra bonus http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11332037
As opposed to http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9276543&st=modern+warfare+2&lp=5&type=product&cp=1&id=1218073195024
Gamestop also sales for 60, and as of now newegg also.
