Could someone please help me solve this problem. It happens when I try to launch CS:S and then this popup comes up.

Counter-Strike Source: hl2.exe-Application Error
The instruction at "0x12693e2c" referenced at "0x0e48a1a0". The memory could not be "read"
Click OK to terminate the program

I tried installing DirectX 9 but still got the same probem.

Please help.

Ohh, yeah. I had the same problem yesterday!!!! Just repair steam.

Run Steam Setup and click "repair". Or see if you could do it through control panel.

If that doesn't work go into your C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\YourName\Counter-Strike Source\ folder and send steam your MDMP files and they'll read them to find out what is causing that error. You send it to them via steampowered.com click support and setup an account with them.
