I saw this while working out. I thought it was interesting that he quoted the Koran at them. I wonder how well that will go over. I figure if he manages to get a few of those countries to stop QQing for five minutes with that shit, it'll be better than nothing.

I found it funny that no one applauded when he mentioned Iran, because partly, most arabs hate the persians... I also thought the talk abuot hijab was not really necessary, but the woman's rights issues were well played IMHO.

his thinly veiled attacks on this country and its past were irritating.

Anybody else see the clip of leaders NOT shaking his hand when he was standing next to king abdullah?

I saw it, I also saw that his comments about israel seemed to get the most happy noise from the muhammad-jihad crowd. It's pretty much the thing now, apologize for our past behavior according to them, and hope they don't decide to blow something up... oh, and bitch at Israel.

Our new cool, towlie friends will love us so... like the fat, smart, shy kid is loved by the popular kids when he makes them meth and scores them his mom's pills... except our population is not all that smart...

It's just a continuation of his apology tour.

I hope Netanyahu doesn't kowtow to Obama. We need SOMEONE with balls over there. Irsrael has enough for both our countries.

Jimmy Carter BORED people into signing peace treaties... that and he locked diplomats in his basement at Camp David until they said Uncle.

I was furious when he brought up the Holocaust and failed to call it what it was.

Murder.

He danced around it, saying "killed." You are killed by getting in a bad car accident, not being systematically wiped out by a fascist dictatorship. It may seem like a small detail but it is not, he has enough Jews in his cabinet and office to know he made that word choice consciously. He has no backbone. He also criticized Israeli settlement, and called it the "Arab peace initiative," ignoring the ridiculous concessions the state of Israel has made in the last decade to pacify the Palestinians.

As for all the Qoranism, it does indeed seem that Oprah was right. He is the prophet, but not of the Christian God...
