Why wont he just quit? lol
Bret Favre changes his mind every other minute. I'm actually getting quite perturbed with him being the main story on ESPN every time during the off season in a "will he?/won't he?" dilemma.
Well I'll give him this, he was a great QB for his time but he gots to learn to hang it up and move on. I mean look at Dan, he never won a super bowl but had so many QB records in the NFL, he knew when to hang it up and call it quits. Farve just needs to move on like I said.
The only reason that i ever liked the Packers was because of him, but even a grown man can act like a child sometimes. GO REDSKINS
I didnt mind him at Packers, I actually enjoyed watching him play there. GO Panthers :P lol
I'm not saying i don't like him its just that he's drawing out his play time waay to much.

i love farve being from wisconsin but..... he needs to get some video games or write a book or screw a hooker something to keep him busy so he forgets about football, he is soiling his epicness
Yea, he needs to hang it up and move on. I mean he doesnt have to completely leave the sport, he can always become a announcer like Dan Marino and Steve Young. lol

^ yah i agree, not a coach though cause he is the worst fundamently sound quaterback there is. lol but an announcer or something, hes an idiot though when he retired fromt he packers they offered him 4 mil a year for 5 years to be there spokespersonall he had to do was show up at like four autograph events a year and stay retired, what a awsome job

Right on Drox :thumb:.
As for the Bret Favre issue, I loved watching him play but, I think it's time for him to stop. I can't see it from his perspective though. When he stops, he's leaving behind everything he knew (football). He just really loves the sport. Now though, I think it's important for him to stop. He's getting way to old for a sport like football and has a greater risk of getting seriously injured.

That IS the 09 cover. The game has been out for a long time.
Here is the deal with Brett. He just uses the wrong words. He keeps saying retired and needs to be saying I did not want to play for this team. And I am talking about the Jets. He only had a 1 year deal with them and he did not get along with the coach and most of the team there. So why would he stay. He got out of his deal with GB by going to the Jets, so why would he not leave after the year to be able to play with a team he really wanted to play with.
But he just tossed out the retired thing again, but he is now with the team he wanted to be with when asking to be released from GB.
