Today, I am reviewing 2 Tom Clancy games. Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and GRAW 2.

Lets start with Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

Obviously, the story is set in Las Vegas, which actually gives the game a kickass backdrop. You often find yourself sniping terrorists on hotel roofs, or getting into shootouts in the middle of a casino or club. Rappeling down a hotel, then crashing guns ablase like a tripped out kool-aid man is pretty awesome. Lets break it down a bit shall we?

There are a few different game modes to be aware of.

Campaign: You play through the campaign as Bishop, leader of the elite Rainbow Six counter-terrorism unit. (You can play with a partner via split screen or XBL or PSN, or PC).

Terrorist Hunt: Its you and 3 other people versus X amount of terrorists. The number of terrorists and difficulty depend on the host settings. (Population density, difficulty level, friendly fire). Some maps are insanely fun, others are insanely tactical. This is a good way to practice, and become more accurate.

Versus: Various versus game types (duh) such as Attack & Defend, TDM, DM, and my favorite, team leader.

Team leader assigns one person on each team a Leader. As long as the leader is alive, you can respawn. If you are killed by the leader, you cannot respawn. The goal of this game type is to get your leader to the designated zone before the other team does.

Now, here is one of my favorite parts of this game. This game has a very deep character customization. You can customize armor, clothing (balaclavas, face masks, helmets) and weapons. There is a shitload of camos, and once you reach the highest rank, you can create up to 3 custom camos.

To unlock the majority of the games weapons, you must use the A.C.E.S system. It basically boils down to your actions in-game unlocking weapons. There are 3 types of sections that allow you to unlock different weapons.

Marksman: Unlocks accurate AR's, Sniper Rifles
CQB: Unlocks Shotguns, SMG's
Assault: Unlocks AR's , LMG's, and lastly, the Riot Sheild (which can be used with a pistol)

To get A.C.E.S points, you must perform an action that relates to 1 of the 3 sections. For example, if I snipe an opponent, I get marksman points, kill at close range, I get CQB, if I kill through cover, I get assault. There are 20 levels of each section that allow you to unlock weapons, after that, you can just get the sections higher to give you an excess of 5000 exp every time you level a section up.

This is an incredibly addicting game, and if you havent picked it up in the past, dont miss out.

I hope you enjoyed my review!
