FAQ about sig/ava/spray Requests

OFFICIAL SIG/AVVIE/SPRAY REQUEST



-How it came about-
In the beginning, we wanted to condense all of the requests into one thread with designated sig makers and requirements for users who wanted any requests done. However, after sticking method, we decided to revisit the thread where anyone in the community could have the freedom to make Sig/Avvie/Spray requests, to widen the range of images and designs that you could get.




-How it works-
First off, decide what type of graphic you want. This could be a forum signature, server spray, or forum avatar. Once you imagine what you want, press the link below and fill out the forum to your personal specifications. It will end up in the Sig/Avvie/Spray Request thread, where you will see [Pending] if someone is currently working on your request or [Done] if you like the final product someone's made for you.

-What is a render?-
A render is a picture saved in a .psd or .png format and it already has no background. A render is used in most cases as the main picture in a sig/spray/avvie.
As you can see by the pictures below, the left picture is not a render because it still has a background, however the image on the right is a render since its background is transparent:

I finished Ping Pongs sig but if someone else can do his spray that'd be great because it took way longer than what I expected to work on his sig, although he did specify me, he did also state he'd like others to work on it if possible. I have his edited ping pong table saved as a psd available if anyone wants it.

Benny, any cartoon character in particular you'd like?


Also, one more thing. Users who request, please read the rules thoroughly prior to requesting. Don't pm a sig maker when your sig will be done. It takes us sometimes a very very long time to work on your sig, especially if you're being very specific about it. Also, some of us don't sign on every single day. Again, please be patient with us.

Well, Use GIMP if you need something free and easy to use. Fireworks I dont really know, havent tried it yet, and Photoshop If you have money and are willing to put a lot of time into learning. Fireworks applies with the last statement I believe. I dunno.

i need a avatar. cool sig tho. btw you use gimp right? well changing colors is easy just make a new layer and make it a hue. than go to town on any colors and black is the only thing that separates colors
