Composition is a little unbalanced, but it still looks quite nice for a beginner.

its ok but what do you mean by the composition being a little unbalanced.

i thought that everything flowed rather nicely.. is there something wrong that maybe u could say so i can improve on?

Try placing the render in the middle, with it on the left the side it's unbalanced, think of a scale.

Left and right side need to be even.

i think he means everything looks a little jumbled, and its lacking flow

also, work on the contrast a bit

not exactly, rule of thirds.

Well, you don't want the render way over on the left, you want some sort focal near the middle.

Not everything needs to be in the center. Also, his sig makes sense because the character (Ryu) is doing a hadouken, the main "focal point" is the hadouken.

not all the way to the left, but kind of in the line....
