Considering the criticism with the bonuses, I'm not feeling entirely sympathetic at all to anything AIG might have to say. Greenberg's pointing of fingers now is kind of ridiculous - I mean, really?

It's the former AIG exec, as in the one that didn't shitcan the entire company. And once again, The bonuses were <1% of the entire allottment of funds given to them, and there was nothing said about giving out bonuses.

Do I agree it was a smart move to give away taxpayer money to bonuses, or for that matter, bail out their defunct asses? No, I believe free market principles weeds out these problems just fine. So I do blame the government for meddling in the first place.
