I thought it was only for their "high quality" songs. This will definetly cause me to use limewire even more now. My gift cards will be worth even less.

I only get tracks when i am addicted to a song, stopped illegal downloads after i finished uni, got more cash now. Whats more disgraceful is that you guys pay $.99, we pay £.99!!!! Ridiculous, they screw over english customers

I hardly use the App store, as my touch is jailbroken, however I still purchase songs every now and then.

Anyone else see Wolfenstein 3D released on the App store?

Silly Apple.

If only they knew that raising the price will encourage more jailbroken iPods and ripped music.

Lol

@ The people wondering how to download from youtube... Use the Mozilla Firefox browser, go to tools->Add-ons->Get Add-ons->Browse all Addons-> Search for 'youtube' then within the first 5 results or so there should be your answer. It works fine if you follow the directions(I use the "Download Youtube Videoes in MP4 and HD" one).. I have like 5 songs that i downloaded to my PSP as well. Video works perfect as well.. Though the HD version seems to be a corrupted file when i try it on my PSP.

@ The illegal thing.. lol xD Well, if they decide to sue ya then just blame Firefox.

They wont be raising prices now! Amazon just started a MP3 war with Apple offering their songs at 29p each! (Apple's are 79p)! This is good news, Apple will lower prices to compete with Amazon :D

uTorrent is as compromised as Limewire is if you're afraid of getting caught. BitTorrent Inc. owns and now maintains the code for uTorrent and BitTorrent Inc. have partnerships with many media companies.

not afraid of getting caught, limewire just sucks is all.

and daze, they already did raise the prices, and they cant do shit about it, they were dumb and let the labels choose the price.

bleugh. 98 kbps no thanks. and even if you rip it as 320 its MUCH lower than that.

also, they did left, they have 3 prices now, but of course pretty much all of the top 10 are over a dollar.
