Empire: TW Achievement Thing

Right, so there's one about freeing America or something like that, and you have to complete the Road to Independence ccampaign to get it.

So I completed the last bit last night (where you get the three maps and you're a proper faction and stuff) and waited ages with my territories until 1810, got there, won, ended the game, but it's not unlocked.

I'm not saying I care about the achievment, I'm just wondering is there something I missed or is there more to the campaign? It was kinda fun.

I had the same problem. This is what i did:

1. In Chapter 3 - Control all 8 required territories and maintain 14/15 total territories.

2. Then place a large army by a 15th region you want to capture.

3. When the game reaches Winter 1825 (the last possible turn of the campaign before automatic defeat) ensure you still have the 14 total territories including the 8 listed victory territories and finally take the 15th settlement.

4. Then end the round and you should get the achievement.

I got that one but I didn't actually do it.

And is it just an achievement bug? That's the end of the mini campaign?
