I just found this awesome TF2 pixelated parody game called gang garrison (get it?)

It's a very dumbed down version of TF2, is side scrolling, but it's completely addicting if you just want something to play for a couple of minute or are to cheap to drop $10-20 for the real deal. Give it a try. And I realize it's not actually a FPS, but seeing as it's based on one, I hope you forgive me for posting it here.

This is pretty fun actually. It's a great alternative if your laptop cannot run it overseas/other country/other state/other province/out of time whatever. I like the online play, it doesn't lag as much as the actual games.
