View Full Version : Fedora 10 Linux

Decided to give the latest version of linux a try with Fedora 10 and run it as dual boot so I don't have to give up Windows, it's pretty nice if you like to do a lot of tinkering with it. Linux as a whole has a long ways to go still. Ubuntu is much easier to install Nvidia drivers with Envy (Application) and has better package management since it's based on debian code. Wine (Emulation Software) will run your windows apps

For those new to linux, Ubuntu is the best way to go until you become more familiar with linux, also has a great community for support. Fedora has a more polished look and feel to it with pretty artwork. I'll upload some screenshots or maybe even a video tomorrow. Both distros are stable.
