There has been a major issue with it
It has caused the security to drop on it and makes it vulnerable to hackers
So I suggest using Firefox or another Web Browser ASAP

All browsers are vulnerable. Just look at the release notes of Firefox 3.0.5, Chrome 1.0.154.36 and Opera 9.63. They all patched several security issues. IE pushed out a patch in record time from discovery to release, so it's no slouch when it comes to security.

Iexplorer was my main browser until I got firefox

Um.... IE has been crap for a long, long time. If your too stubborn to use Firefox, at least get the IE7 Pro extension so your not totally crap. :)
