View Full Version : my suggestion- !votemute
zombie servers seem to have a problem of mic spaming. and while admins try to their best to keep the server in check there arent admins always on. i suggest that the server get !votemute. (this should ideally be lower people to votemute than voteban)
thanks for reading my suggestion.

yes, not to bring up other servers but before i found you guys i played at tnb, and they had votemute.
it would imo, alleviate the problems of mic spaming when admins arent around. since this isnt a ban and the person could still play i think a relativly small amount of people would be able to mute a mic spammer
Seems like it could be a good idea, I'll bring it up to the BD's/Haggard.
Thanks =]

I might start working on something which is a little more robust than votemute.
as long as something is being done to help alleviate the problem of mic spaming im happy. it really annoys me to have to threaten people with a demo, and then take a demo, post it, and wait for the ban. this should greatly help :-)
glad you all like my idea.

defiantly sounds like a good idea and it would solve a lot of problems.

Yeah, and if you're going to bump a thread at least spell "definitely" correctly, unless you meant to type defiantly, in which case it would make zero sense.

well regardless of whether or not this is old. Did we make headway with this? Because mic spamming is still big in ZE
