James Bond is back, and this time it’s mighty personal. Daniel Craig’s craggy agent picks up exactly where he left off in another bruising thriller that leaves you feeling both drained and exhilarated.

For a lot of the movie Bond is a particularly unsympathetic character, and often it's only Craig's performance along with the shifting morality of Bond's legion of enemies that forces the audience to root for him.

Can't wait to see how it's like, I quite liked Casino Royal, and since this picks up where Royal ended it can't fail :D

I have a buddy who's a VIP-member at the local cinema, so I get to see it two days before it premiers in Denmark - YAY!

I think the James Bond series has been going down hill since the latest "Bond" replacement. But that's my opinion. I liked the older movies for some reason.

I found the last installment better than the Pierce Brosnan movies.

Hopefully the new one is too

I think daniel craig is like 10 TIMES BETTER then all the others.

You know why? i loved Casino royal.

Why?
I thought that was the best and compared to the books that was the closed.
All the other films he is the hero and always gets the girl and does everything right, what i loved in casino royal was that he was almost portrayed as the bad guy.

I'm hoping this is going to be great, i have no doubts and from trailers i'm guessing it's like casino royal with certain aspects. Like, he is not the good guy... All the time.

May i add, Casino royal was the VERY FIRST James bond book written by ian flemming. Which makes it awesome and like he can't fly with all these gadgets in the other films and what not.

Just like the dark knight and batman begins, bond is being reinvented at a darker more sinister character imo. I lik it

The new movie or Royal?

I found Royal quite neat, at least better than the Brosnan ones. I think it's nice to get a more realistic twist to it, and the fact that it's getting darker and less comic like is only a plus in my book :)

The fact that it the Bond series was not another serious action series is why I actually liked it. Now that it's getting more serious I'm starting to drift away from it.

Yeah but us UK guys get to see it on 31st october :partydance::partydance::partydance:

I've always like Bond Movies. I have to say that I don't like the older versions as much as the more recent ones (although I do still like them). Bond was becoming predictable and its nice to see that this Bond is a bit different, and I like it!

OK so I just saw this movie and................not what I hoped for...

Story was very basic.....not much detail to it at all.

Action was OK.......not many big sceens imo.

Not many gadgets....except a gun.

Overall.....not nearly as good as Casino Royale, but it is worth seeing....

I never have been a big bond fan, I think Sean Connery was the best bond. I might go see this, but im still in therapy from max payne.

I saw it yesterday, and honestly, i think it's lost it's bondness, if ya know what i mean.

the plot wasn't explained properly, i mean, wtf was the quantum of solace anyway? an oil pipe or something? Also, there weren't any gadgets involved at all ... how un-bond-like :bored:

not really worth watching imo ...

The reason there wasn't any gadgets is because the second book Ian Flemming wrote, which is no gadgets.

I have to agree, it is a good film, effects were great and the action was good. I just didn't like it because there was holes all over the plot and half the time it made no sense. It was actually good, but disappointing in comparison to Casino Royal.

I just got back from the cinema, and I must say it left me quite confused. I felt like I was only at the cinema for about an hour, while it actually lasted almost two.

The movie itself wasn't bad, but the plot was a bit loose, and the constant mixture of action and calm scenes, left a rather messy impression - I think the best term to describe this movie is eye fucking - just a constant bombardment of action, rapid camera movements etcetera.

spoiler:

I never really understood the plot either, was Green trying to steal water? That's so not badass - I want villains to steal oil or diamonds. And we didn't learn who this secret group was? Is this Quantum guy the leader?

But after all, it was a fine movie, a rating would be 3.5/5

I actuallly didn't loke Quantom. It just couldn't capture my attention. The beginning scene was shaking so much it was hard to see waht was going on.
