i havnt mapped alot in the last few months but now, all work has been taken back up!
ze_SFJ_high_school is my first priorty and i've already mad lots of progress
just take a look!
1st pic is a very old one, 2nd is an overview in hammer, 3rd and 4th are a few places in the map including: a class room, a room where the students can chill, a PC-lab, the main hall, the cafeteria, a hallway, an outside shot and the science lab

i don't mean that, i mean, theres about 20 lights in 1 room, 1 or 2 lights/ room is pretty good

The lag is an issure with so many lights!

the map will be very dark. i've added some enviomental elements like: rain, wind, fog, fire and lightning.
there is an average of 9 light in each classroom, but all lights will very weak. the only strong/average strenght lights are outside mounted lights, lightpoles and the 3 strongest on the helicopter.

Oh did you have full bright on the screenshots?

Screenshots he showed us are made inside the editor so you can't see the real lighting

yeah what you thought was lights were env_sprite's, but they combined with light_spot's. just like in cs_office

EDIT: the indoor lights will have a brightness of 5-10

Delete some lights and make them bit stronger, you can have same lights with less lights. That many lights will later kick you to balls and then its not funny to delete 10 000 lights.

yeah mabey... i'll start out by seing how it runs with all the lights, if it doesnt run well i'll delete some of them (from 9 to 4 pr.class room) and re-map the whole sealing...
