Veteran policy regarding inactivity

People who go inactive, lose admin, and then come back have to go through the system... that makes sense. The only thing is SGers in the military don't go inactive voluntarily and when they come back they usually become active right off again.

It doesn't make much sense to hold deployments against them, so I think it'd be more sensible that if they aren't in a position that has activity requirements (AO etc) to just let it slide and let them pick up where they left off. Afaik most of them are CAs anyway so it's not much of an issue.

I agree lol duh but whats the difference between me going afk for a year and another person goes afk for a month or two for personal issues and step down from a position. And what if the person is in the military and is an AO or higher? Does he go back to spot as AO or BD? Or does he go back to becoming a Legend or something.

I think the only position people would get moved to is LG. If they are SA, leave em as SA who cares. If they are CA, move em to LG for inactivity. If they are LG, well we already know they may or may not be inactive. If they are AO or BD move em down to LG, and when they come back, IF there is a position available, they can ask for it back, but if nobody is looking for another AO they don't get their spot guaranteed back.

^^^ Common sense applies, even if Bob has to spell it out since this is the internet. The main difference is just not punting someone back to HG or SA or something just because they got deployed somewhere with no decent internet.
