New Server: LOTR Escape server

Our current zombie escape servers seem to be able to keep themselves full without the popular lotr maps.

I propose we create a server specifically for these maps. This will mean that the physics will only be screwed for these maps where it isn't needed, and also give us a chance to test any possible solutions without disrupting our regular escape servers.

Very nice idea. LOTR maps are always attracting people so it could work out. I'd say give it a try.

I agree, that map is great and a server dedicated to it would get noticed quickly.

I am just puttting out there I have no idea how many maps of these exist but if it only a couple this server might be full for like a week then die but then again it might be the opposite so yeah

Don't wanna burst ya bubble but remember the server dedicated to smash maps. Look how that turned out. Making a server for 1 or 2 maps will kill the map and the server. Bad idea imo.

How many LOTR Maps are there? Isn't there only four or five?

escape isn't like minigames, the same maps stay popular for forever (atix_heli, boatescape). Players want to play these maps, and we don't have them on escape. I honestly think we can keep a server full just with these maps and some good advertising/spreading the word.

Yes, but the maps soon become well overplayed very very quickly AND it takes players from the regular escape servers. Maybe if you can a decent population for both for a good solid week or 2, then good on ya. But escape is really popular atm, perhaps even upping the amount of slots on it to like 64 or something.
