Anti-Radio spam script

Kicks players for Radio spamming.

Will kick a player with reason: "Radio Spamming" if they use their radio more than the set 'radio_uses' value. But will give them a use back after 'timer' value is met, and if they haven't been kicked yet.

I like this script, I find radio spamming more annoying then someone playing music.


But, some players use the radio chat to Communicate with their team. I voted No, but lets see what the others think.

Ever since Counter-Strike BETA 3.0 (I Believe?) was released with the new radio commands only few took them seriously, just like they do in CS:S today. They were always used as a way of spamming. I've seen people who have microphones spammed and when muted started spamming commands like "Go Go Go!" a hundred times. I've also had cases where they would spam radio commands when I'm on the opposite team. I don't recall any game were radio commands were ever used in a serious manner. Nobody even touches the radio commands on Battlefield 2142, Left 4 Dead, and Killing Floor because when you use them you'll know that 50% of the time your teammates won't listen.

I think this script is useful and it won't hurt how players communicate with their teammates. Saying the radio command once or twice suffices enough instead of saying one every other second.

Actually I had a couple few couple people communicate with me via radio commands. The ones that are serious about teamwork and have broken mics or something. I do happen to pay attention to radio commands and give them when I don't wanna say it into the mic. I guess it depends how we set the limit on radio commands.
