Could we possibly add "Wigger" to the BANNED WORDS list?

The term most likely stems from a portmanteau of the word white and the derogatory term nigger. The word is considered offensive by some because of its similarity to nigger in addition to reflecting stereotypical notions about urban blacks.

Just to clarify. Wigger basically means a White man acting like a Black man.

IMO it's more complicated than that Andre. I'd say that the similarity in wigger and nigger suggests that wigger is a word used to describe white people who act like a nigger which is far worse than acting like a black person as both are related, but different.

Being described as black is being of that race (which isn't meant offensively...always, whilst being a nigger is almost always offensive)

Naive people mix the two up, like you get people who define blacks as a nigger, and some use nigger without really meaning harm.

I do not think that wigger should be tolerated, but I do think that sometimes people assume the worst. People do mix these things up, not everyone is a racist despite what words they use because racism isn't about words it's about views. Words can describe racism, but words aren't racism flat out.

That is why sometimes I think that admins are too quick to judge. Some admins have 0 tolerance for racism and will ban on the spot and make it lengthy, some will analyse whether it was a mistake or not, if it was a mistake they give that person a warning.

For me.........I think that racism is too confusing to just ban people straight away. I do not condone it, but I know that people get mislead.

Bottom line for me......anything meant to be racial should not be tolerated, but anything which IS generally known to be racist but is perhaps not meant should be warned, whatever the word is. There is no trump racial word, people respond most to nigger but shrug off other words and sometimes condone it. Fact is that is messed up heads.
