Trolling + Bullying

I feel that the forum has FAR too much trolls who are going into random threads and posting things which have no relevance to the thread, or if they had any relevance at all lead to flaming or off topic discussion.

On a side note to trolling, I don't think its fair for people to be picking on others such as Jiggle for no reason (as in he hasn't done anything wrong in that particular case, not overall). Its not just Jiggle, I just feel that as this community is for people of all ages I don't see any excuse for older/more intelligent people flaming smaller people.

I'm not saying make everything formal, because people do have their laughs, but theres a difference between jokes and flames, and debate and flames.

Trolling really gets on my nerves though, i don't see why we should allow people to deliberatly wind up others and pollute our forums with ragearguments

I don't mind it that much. I do mind if it's bad enough for me to step in and tell them off though. Then from there I'd actually like something done to the accused.

I agree we need to crack down on bullying and Trolling in general.

However I think Jiggle is both a bad and good example of this. He has a major martyr complex and seems to get away with more than he should. On the other hand he does seem to be targeted by some of the less mature members of the community.

I'm thinking more in the sense that people want to talk about a certain subject, e.g. Modgers war re-enactment thread. He wouldn't want people starting to talk about boxing for a few pages in his thread would he??? Theres no need for strict guidelines but in some cases the topic needs to stay relatively on target.
