It's a horror anime. It's been dubbed and is called "When they cry Higurashi" though you can still find the sub at crunchyroll.com under the name of Higurashi no naku koro ni. The sequel is Higurashi no naku koro ni kai.

Hell yeah man this show is so cool, but don't forget how cool the killin scenes are when you don't know who really backstabbed each other until later. Though I must say Rena from the first season was hilarious going crazy on Keiichi. Protecting him she says.(lol)
